I loved it. It has just about everything I neded. I found what I was looking for without the help of a sales person. With the help of their mobile cart I was able to get around to check for the list of items that I needed. There were so many affordable prices. I'm so pleased with all of my purchase.
I checked online for chorizo, which said online that it was available in-stock at this location, so I drove down there. Could not find the item asked about 5 different employees that kept on passing me back and forth all around the store.
I used to work at Walmart and this type of customer service is just so low. The manager was rude and unhelpful. I'd be embarrassed if I thought that that was 'good' customer service - heck, I'm embarrassed for her.
Always have to wait in line too long. That shouldn't happen considering the amount of people working at the store. The cashier's are usually pretty nice anyway. So open more register's so people don't have to wait forever in line.
Finally, they get a manager. Manager pointed to where it should be then pointed to another place where it might also be then walked away. Looked in both spots and never did find it.
Never going back here. Ever.
The East Syracuse Walmart was a small, old and kind of run down store that received a slight expansion and update a couple of years ago. It's nicer since the update and they now sell groceries here, but in the back of my mind it is still that crappy little store. I go to this store because it's close and convenient, but I prefer some of the other locations. I had an issue with the pharmacy at this particular Walmart so I started going to the Cicero store, and have been going there ever since. It's a much nicer Walmart and the Cicero branch is open 24 hours. Last I knew the East Syracuse store closed at 11pm.
I asked them to assemble $200 worth of toys for various ages so that I could donate them to the American Legion. They did that for me and completed it a day early. They also added another $71.00 in toys, cutesy of Walmart! Don't think Amazon would do that for me! Thank you Dawn and any associates that helped you. I wouldn't have had a clue! You guys were great!
